Petrol price still eighty-seven naira, not fifty-seven naira, says NNPC

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has debunked reports that there is a reduction in the pump price of petrol from eighty-seven naira per liter to fifty-seven naira. The corporation advised the general public to ignore reports that the price has been reduced; saying the price still remains eighty-seven naira.
A meeting towards this was held on Monday between the Group Managing Director of the NNPC, Dr. Ibe Kachikwu and members of the Major Oil Marketers Association of Nigeria (MOMAN) alongside the Depot and Petroleum Products Association (DAPPMA) at the (NNPC) Towers, Abuja.
