Group Protest Nomination Of Alhaji Lai Mohammed in Kwara

Members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara South have kicked against the nomination of Alhaji Lai Mohammed as ministerial nominee from Kwara State. At a press conference in Ajase Ipo secretariat of the Kwara South zone of the party, the APC youth forum from Kwara South, alleged that Mr Mohammed is not a card-carrying member of the party in the state and has not contributed to the growth and welfare of party members.
Reacting to the petition of the group, Alhaji Lai Mohammed however said some members of the group are new in the party and may be ignorant of how instrumental he was to the success of the APC merger and the role he played in consolidating the progress of the progressive party in the state.
