Arms deal: EFCC arrests president Buhari’s associate

efccTHE Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Wednesday widened its reach in arresting suspects in the two point one billion dollars arms deal involving former National Security Adviser (NSA), Colonel Sambo Dasuki (retired) and some influential Nigerians.


The arrest of Brigadier General Jafaru Isa (retired), an associate of President Muhammadu Buhari and former military governor of Kaduna State, was the first chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), to be arrested in the alleged diversion of two point one billion dollars meant for arms purchase by officials of the Dr Jonathan administration.
