PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi is being investigated by UEFA after his post-match antics following PSG’s 3-1 defeat to Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu.
According to reports, Al-Khelaifi, that after the final whistle, marched to the referees’ room with sporting director Leonardo to harrass them.
The duo was furious that a foul on goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma had not been given in the build-up to Benzema’s first goal.
UEFA, however, have opened proceedings against the pair, with a decision expected from the Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body in due course.
It added: “Together with the French government, Uefa will fully support multi-stakeholder efforts to ensure the provision of rescue for football players and their families in Ukraine who face dire human suffering, destruction and displacement.”
