Tunisian Bakers Strike Again Over Unpaid Subsidies

Thousands of bakeries in Tunisia have gone on strike over more than a year of unpaid government subsidies.
Their owners say they are owed nearly 80 million dollar.
Reports gathered say the move follows similar action in October that ended after a partial deal – which bakers say the government has since reneged on.
Meanwhile, bread shortages have been a flashpoint for unrest in Tunisia, which has experienced a spike in protests over food shortages and living conditions.
