Rural Development: World Bank Commends Kwara State

The Kwara State Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has been commended for his focused and value-driven policies, geared towards creating more development opportunities for the people of the state.

The World Bank Task Team Leader (TTL), for Rural Access Mobility Project Phase 1, Engineer Tunji Ahmed gave the commendation in Ilorin during his working visit to the new office accommodation allocated to the State Project Implementation Unit (SPIU), of the Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP) in Kwara State.

Engr. Ahmed, who commended the Governor for the provision of a new office accommodation for RAAMP officials, also thanked him for the prompt payment of RAAMP counterpart funding, which is an indication of his readiness for effective implementation of RAAMP activities in the state.

He disclosed that the state government partnership with development agencies has further facilitated more worthy development projects to the nooks and crannies of the state.
