osaze dispairNigeria forwards Osaze Odemwingie and Victor Moses say they are delighted to be playing again after being sidelined by injuries.

Stoke City attacker Osaze, who has spent more than two months on the sidelines following a hamstring injury, made a rare substitute appearance as he replaced Bojan Krkic in the 56th minute in the Potters’ 3-1 defeat of Norwich in their Premier League fixture at the Britannia Stadium on Wednesday.

The game was his first since he featured in the 1-1 draw against Chelsea in the League Cup in October 2015.

The 34-year-old South Africa   2013 Africa Cup of Nations winner said he was happy to get another run out at “the best stadium in the world”.

Osaze wrote on Twitter on Thursday, “Was good to get a run out in the best stadium in the world. Boys said back from Siberia, I said Antarctica!”

The former France-based player is likely to be selected by Stoke manager Mark Hughes for Sunday’s Premier League clash against Arsenal at the Britannia Stadium.

Meanwhil, West Ham manager Slaven Bilic confirmed Moses would be available to face Newcastle on Saturday after six weeks out with a hamstring injury.

”Great training session with the lads today (Thursday), happy to be back,” Moses, on loan from Chelsea, wrote on Twitter.
