Rangers thrash Rivers, as 3SC, Enyimba fall in NPFL match day thirty-four

Enugu Rangers reclaimed the top position in the Nigeria Professional Football League after trouncing title rivals Rivers United four-nil in a Nigeria Professional Football League match day thirty-four fixture at the Nnamdi Azikwe Stadium, Enugu on Sunday.
In Makurdi, Lobi Stars surged up the table and increased their chances of picking a continental ticket with a one-nil win against champions Enyimba. Akwa United compounded MFM FC’s by woes by thrashing the Olukoya Boys three-one at the Godswil Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo.
In another match day thirty-four fixture, Plateau United and Shooting Stars finished with ten men each after having a player sent off with Plateau United winning one-nil.
Relegation-bound Ikorodu United picked their first away win of the season following a shocking one-nil away win against Heartland at the Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri. There was also joy for Warri Wolves as they beat Nasarawa United one-nil at the Warri City Stadium with Kelvin Itoya netting the winner in the sixty-sixth minute.
