Presidency says Fight against terrorists, bandits yielding result

The Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed, said that the country is witnessing a progressive decimation of terrorists and insurgents.
Accoording to the Minister the North East is again accessible because of the government’s efforts.
He disclosed this in Calabar at a joint press conference with Professor Ben AYADE, Cross River State Governor, during a ceremony to mark the 2022 World Tourism Day, celebrated every 27th of September.
Lai also expressed joy that the renewed deployment of technology and the synergy between government security forces and private security companies have succeeded in the fight against oil bunkering.
