Kwara State Police Command has congratulated Muslim faithful in Kwara State on the successful completion of the Ramadan season.

The command’s tactical teams, headed by the Commissioner of Police Kwara State, CP Paul Odama and members of his management team, and the chairman and members of the state’s Eid security committee, took a tour of the Eid praying ground in a bid to ensure that no opportunity is allowed for law-breakers and evil-minded people to access the Eid praying ground.

The CP advised Muslim faithful and members of the public to conduct themselves peacefully during the holidays, warned against reckless driving, overloading of vehicles by commercial transporters, acrobatic displays by motorcycle riders, and drunkenness should be avoided by all means.

Water sachets, commonly called “pure water,”  vehicles, praise singers, and sloganeering will not be allowed within the precincts of the Eid praying grounds.

Members of the public are advised to be conscious of happenings around their environments and should report any untoward activity to the police through the following phone lines: 08125275046, 07032069501.
