Sequel to the defamation notice sent to Nigerian singer, Harrison Tare Okiri, famously known as Harrysong, has been arrested by the police in Lagos State, barely after he accused music executive, Soso Soberekon, of trying to kill him.
In a post uploaded on Instagram, he claimed that he was arrested in Lagos. He added that his phone has been seized and he was not allowed to communicate with his people.
This is coming barely a week after Harrysong had accused music executive, Soso Soberekon, of trying to kill him in a talk show published last Monday,
Reacting to the accusation, Soberekon, through his lawyers, sent a defamation notice to Harrysong, where he demanded that he should retract his publication, publish an apology letter in two newspapers and several online millets plus a sum of five hundred million Naira as compensation.
It continued that Harrysong’s failure to comply would prompt taking legal actions against him for what is described as “exemplary damages.”
