PDP faults APC regime over failed promises, just as party flags off Presidential campaigns in Kwar

Ahead of the 2023 general elections, the people Democratic party PDP has faulted the current administration of the All progressive congress APC for failing to fulfil the campaign promises made to Nigerians, particularly on economy, corruption and security.
Addressing newsmen today during the flag off of the presidential campaign of the PDP, the Director general of the Kwara State chapter of the party, Dr Mahmud Ajeigbe said there has been decline in the major economic indices.
According to our correspondents- Olarotimi Oshin, the activity is taking place at the metropolitan square in Ilorin the state capitaL, barely less than four months before the February 25 presidential election.
Dignitaries who include the party’s presidential candidate and former Vice President, Akitu Abubakar, his running mate and Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa among other entourage will be visiting Ilorin on the 24th of November, 2022.
Speaking on Atiku Abubakar’s experience, Ajeigbe said Nigeria need experienced politician who can take Nigeria out of its current crisis.
The Social Democratic Party (SDP) governorship candidate in Kwara State, Alhaji Hakeem Lawal at the weekend took his consultation tour to Ilorin South local government area where he was received by mammoth crowd.
Hakeem Lawal with Kwara SDP Campaign Council led the two Directors General; Kahlid Bolaji and Kale Belgore as well as State Party Chairman, Alhaji AbdulAzeez Afolabi paid homage to Alangua of Tanke, Alhaji Umaru Salaudeen.
The Alangua of Tanke, Alhaji Umaru Salaudeen in his remarks, said Hakeem Lawal would continue to enjoy goodwill of his late father, Admiral Mohammed Alabi Lawal, noting that he recorded unprecedented achievements from 1999 to 2003.
Hakeem Lawal also engaged some Community Leaders, Opinion Moulders and rural dweelers in Ago Ayekale, Tanke Ajanaku, Olometa, Agbabiaka, and other stakeholders to another round of Interactive Session held in front of Primary Health centre, Ago which recently got renovated by the only SDP House of Representatives member, Honorable Gani Cook Olododo.
The SDP gubernatorial candidate for 2023 election in a chat with newsmen bemoaned the deplorable state of roads across Ilorin Metropolis, noting that Gaa Akanbi-Agbabiaka Road, Pipeline Road, Awolowo Road, Aga to Ganmo Road and others fast becoming death traps.
