One person has died, while twenty-one sustained varying degrees of injuries in a road crash along the Lagos-Ibadan highway.
It was gathered that the crash occurred at about 05:35 a.m. today, involving a luxury bus and a truck.
According to the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), both vehicles had no registration numbers attached to them.
FRSC spokesperson in Ogun, Florence Okpe, confirmed that the suspected causes of the crash were excessive speed and a mechanical deficiency.
Okpe added that of the forty persons involved in the crash twenty-one were male adults who were only injured and the other one person lost his life in the crash, with the others involved in the crash unhurt.
The spokesperson also hinted that the injured victims were taken to Famobis Hospital, Mowe, for medical attention, adding that the corpse was deposited at the same hospital.
