Wikki Tourists boosted their title hopes following an impressive two-one win against MFM FC in a Nigeria Professional Football League matchday thirty-two fixture at the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa Stadium, Bauchi on Sunday. At the Sani Abacha Stadium, Kano, Rivers United’s title bid suffered a setback as they went down to a one-nil defeat against Kano Pillars.

Ikorodu United picked their first win under Dutchman Theo de Jong as they defeated Niger Tornadoes in Abeokuta. Babangida Hussaini scored in the twenty-first minute as Akwa United also secured a one-nil win against Lobi Stars.
