download (14)Kano Pillars‘ poor away form continued as they fell to a one-nil defeat against Nasarawa United yesterday at the Aper Aku Stadium, Makurdi in a Nigeria Professional Football League match day thirty-one fixture.


Samuel Agba scored the winning goal in the ninety-fifth minute to condemn the visitors to another defeat on the road. It was the Sai Masu Gida’s sixth straight defeat on the road and it has put a dent on their title hopes.


The win boosted Nasarawa United hopes of picking a continental ticket as they moved from ninth to six position in the table, while Pillars dropped from eighth to ninth position.
