Non Government Organisation Holds Workshop For Teenage Girls In Kwara Schools

A Non-Government Organization, Ilorin Global Shapers Community, has organized a workshop to train teenage girls in Ilorin secondary school on menstrual hygiene and education, reproductive and sexual health education, and career and leadership skills development.
The symposium tagged SafeSpace for Her held at Government Girls’ Day Secondary School, Pakata, Ilorin, was facilitated by experts and professionals in different fields to enlighten the participants and assess their knowledge about the subject topics.
The experts include; Aruwa Hameedah Ugbedeojo, a Medical Student, Alabi T. Omolara Olutayo an expert community and girl child champion, Kehinde Akinsola Curator of Ilorin Global Shapers Hub, Adetola Opeyemi Vice Curator, and Anthonia Erinfolami-Daniel, Advocate for Human Rights and Child Rights facilitated different sessions.
At the end of the workshop, the participants were also urged to share knowledge acquired with their peers and members of their respective societies.
