The executive secretary of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), Tony Ojukwu, signed the MoU with the Venezuelan ambassador to Nigeria, David Caraballo on Tuesday.
Mr Ojukwu said Human rights violation is the same all over the world and maintained that collaboration would open many doors of learning new things between the two nations.
Meanwhile, the Venezuelan Ombudsman, Alfrudo Angulo, whose position is similar to the NHRC executive secretary, said the Venezuelan human rights institution was created in 1999 with an established good bilateral relationship between the two countries in many areas.
