As Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq would be sworn in today , May 29, 2023, for the second term in office, Kwarans have expressed their views and set agenda for the governor.
Religious leaders, public affairs analyst, concerned citizens amongst others also expressed their views and opinions.
The Bishop of the Anglican Diocese of Kwara, Right Reverend Sunday Timothy Adewole, while delivering the Bishop’s Charge at the opening session of the 17th Synod of the Diocese. said “serve the people over whom God has made you leader, so that when you are no more in office your name will be etched with gold in the hearts of the people”.
A Concern citizen Mr Yemi Adurotoye said “For Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq: He is expected to consolidate of his first term achievements. He has to do more in respect of infrastructure, education and health.
Another respondent Abdul Salaudeen said the governor must intensify on the gains already recorded in the last four years of the first tenure.He noted that Ilorin road network is an eyesore to visitors to the state capital, because it serves as window to Kwara state”
