Kwara United targets quality players

Kwara United Football Club has reiterated its resolve to recruit quality players that will prosecute the 2014-2015 Nigeria Premier League.

The General Manager of the Club, Alhaji Haruna Maigidansanma stated this on Playing Host, a Radio Kwara Personality programme.
Alhaji Maigidansanma said the target of the Club is to win continental ticket which had eluded the State.

The General Manager stated that the Club would make commitment and discipline its key words to ensure the progress of the State darling team.

He expressed confidence in the newly appointed Technical crew led by Coach Tunde AbdulRahman to take the team to the next level.
Alhaji Maigidansanma noted that the team had recruited players from the State as part of the government’s drive to empower  the youth.

The General Manager called on all stakeholders to rally round the team to achieve the desired results.

He explained that one of its players, Samuel Adegbenro had moved to Norway adding that plans are in top gear to inject new players into the team. Alhaji Maigidansanma praised the State government for its support and assistance and appealed for more financial support to ensure the success of the Team in the League that would commence on Saturday.

The General Manager said the team is already in Ijebu Ode to intensify efforts and preparation ahead of the Premier League.

He pledged the commitment of his management team to take the team beyond the fan’s expectations this season and urged the fans and supporters to continue to be law abiding followers of the Club.
