Kwara State University Gets NUC Full Accreditation in 12 Academic Programmes

Kwara State University, Malete has received a hundred per cent pass mark from the National Universities Commission NUC on the twelve programmes presented for re-accreditation in the 2022 November/December round of accreditation exercise.
Notice of the re-accreditation success which was dated March 9, 2023 addressed to the Visitor to the University and Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, was signed by the Deputy Director, Programme Accreditation of the NUC, Architect S.S. Ikani.
The re-accredited programmes are Arabic Language and Literature, Christian Studies, Islamic Studies, History and International Studies, Library and Information Science, Special Education, and Human Kinetics.
The others are Geology, Industrial Chemistry, Mathematics, Statistics, and Economics.
Reacting to the result, the Acting Vice-Chancellor of Kwara State University, Professor Shaykh-Luqman Jimoh expressed elation at the success the institution achieved which was based on the quality of instruction and facility in the University.
