KWARA PENSIONERS COMMEND GOV. ABDULRAZAQ OVER PROMPT PAYMENT OF GRATUITY ,PENSION ARREARS

The Kwara State Chapter of the Nigeria Union of Pensioners (NUP) has lauded the State Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRasaq over prompt payment of arrears and gratuities to Pensioners in the State.
The Chairman of the Union, Comrade Saidu Oladimeji gave the commendation during a thank you visit to the State Local Government Service Commission and Local Government Pension Board in Ilorin. Oladimeji described the Governor as a God-sent who came to rescue Pensioners particularly at the Local Government Areas from the perpetual sufferings in the hand of the successive Governments in the State .
The NUP Chairman, who led other executive members on the visit, said the era of percentage was over.
According to him, Pensioners now receive their entitlements in full and paid as and well due. Responding, the Executive Chairman of the Commission, Alhaji Umaru Shero appreciated the Union Members for coming. The visit, he said, would give the Government confidence that the Senior citizens are happy and joyous .
