Members of the Nigerian Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) in Kwara State say they are excited at the rare privilege and opportunity given to one of them in person of Fatimah Asabe Jiyah who was recently appointed as a member of the Board of the Kwara State Internal Revenue Service (KWIRS) by kwara State Governor, Mallam Abdulrazak Abdulrahman.
The union in a statement made available to Royal FM by Ayobola Ipinlaiye, Chairperson and Ganiyat Adedeji Secretary informed that the Association is humbled and deeply grateful for this, and pledge to be a loyal and dedicated servant to justify the confidence reposed in one of them saying they will not take it for granted.
According to the statement, NAWOJ also applauds the women-inclusive Government of the current administration in Kwara State and prayed that the appointment mark the beginning of much greater heights for the APC administration and the State as a whole.
