Kwara government expresses satisfaction over JSS 3 results, gives free scratch card for result checking

The Kwara State Government under the leadership of His Excellency, Mallam AbdulRazaq AbdulRahaman has commended the performance of students during the 2019 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) as highly satisfactory.

The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development, Hajia Mariam Garba disclosed this during the official presentation, approval and release of 2019 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) results at the Ministry headquarters. According to her, forty-three thousand, four hundred and forty-four candidates sat for 2019 BECE Examination which is slightly above the figure for the year 2018.

The Permanent Secretary who enjoined candidates to go and collect free scratch cards from their various schools for checking of the results said that any principals caught charging students for scratch cards will be dealt with appropriately.

Garba noted that the government has been commended for its commitment towards providing sound and quality education.
