Kwara Government commits one-fifty million to water project in Moro, Asa Local Government Areas

Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has committed one hundred and fifty million naira to the construction of at least 48 modern motorized boreholes and their accessories in Moro and Asa local government areas of the state.

According to the Commissioner for Finance, Florence Olasunmbo Oyeyemi the water project is one of the findings from the budget review process which states the readiness of the government to meet the water demands of its citizens.

In its effort to support the state government on making water available to Kwarans, the Federal Government has offered to construct twenty solar boreholes in Edu and Offa local government areas, each getting 10 apiece to deepen public access to water.
