KOSOVO PROTESTERS CLASH WITH POLICE OVER MP’S ARREST

Kosovo opposition politician Albin Kurti has been released from detention after protesters and police clashed over his arrest in the capital Pristina.
a Member of Parliament and founder of the opposition’s Self-Determination party who was arrested by the police was also questioned before he was released earlier this morning. His stunt in parliament was part of a protest by opposition MPs against the deal with Serbia. The EU-brokered agreement grants more powers to the mainly Serb areas of Kosovo. Opposition MPs say it will deepen the ethnic divide and increase Serbia’s power in the country.
Parliamentary member Glauk Konjufca, also from the opposition party, said that police had not been able to produce an arrest warrant for Kurti. According to Konjufca the kosovoan police could also not give valid reason his arrest .he also accused the government of responsible of the arrest .
