El-Kanemi Warriors right full back, Jelili Akinbode has warned the Stephen Keshi led technical crew of the Super Eagles to watch out for his former teammate, Hassan Hissien, who is a Chadian International.
Hissien made his Chadian debut in 2010 against Chad and has remained in the team.
Nigeria will host Chad at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna in the opening match of the 2017 Afcon qualifiers on June 13 an Hissien is likely to be in the squad for the trip.
“Hissien is a versatile player who can play as a right back, winger and striker. Moreover, he is blessed with pace and the defenders must ensure they monitor him.
“I met him at El-Kanemi in his second year and know he is dangerous to any defence. He can help the attack with passes that cut through the midfield. As a right back, he plays like a winger”, Akinbode said to supersport.com.
Hissien arrived Nigeria from Foullah Edifice in his native Chad in 2013 and spent two seasons with the Maiduguri side.
supersport.com learnt that Hissien, who helped El-Kanemi to fourth position in 2013 has already rejoined Edifice and played against Algerian side, USM Algiers, in the 2015 Caf Champions League preliminary round.
