Kano Government gives Reason for demolition of Government House Roundabout

Following public criticisms, the Kano State government has given reasons why it demolished the Government House Roundabout on Tuesday night, saying the structure was pulled down in the best interest of the public good.

This was contained in a statement today by Sanusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the Chief Press Secretary to Kano State Governor, Engineer Abba Kabir Yusuf.

It could be Recalled that the historic multi-million naira roundabout which was remodeled and renovated by the immediate past administration of Governor Abdullahi Ganduje at the cost of One hundred and sixty million naira in 2017.

The edifice was constructed to serve as a state monument for the commemoration of the 50th anniversary of Kano as a state.
