Jamb sets new registration date

The registration for the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and Direct Entry gets a new date, according to the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board.
JAMB made the decision following the suspension of the verification portal of the National Identity Number due to hitches.
Initially, the registration was scheduled to commence on February 12, but postponed to February 19 and concludes on March 26, 2022.
According to JAMB, the seven-day postponement is to get feedback from stakeholders and candidates.
Furthermore, the Board stated that its registration procedure and bulletin would be available on their website on February 14. The Board also urged candidates to abide by the registration procedures.
“The process, which will be concluded within the one-week extension period, is also aimed at accommodating feedback from candidates and other stakeholders alike, JAMB spokesperson Fabian Benjamin disclosed.
“Further to the above, the new and improved procedures for the 2022 UTME Registration would be made available on the Board’s website, its weekly bulletin as well as other media outlets on Monday, 14th February 2022.
“The candidates, are by this notice, urged to follow keenly the procedures for registration as would be announced by the Board.
