Iwobi out of Tanzania clash

Arsenal’s exciting forward Alex Iwobi will not be part of Nigeria’s team to the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Tanzania due to injury. The exciting prospect picked up a thigh injury in the Gunners’ opening day fixture against Liverpool which will see him sidelined for up to three weeks.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger confirmed the injury during a press conference ahead of Arsenal’s trip to champions Leicester City. Wenger said that he is pleased the injury is not as first feared, and Iwobi will be back after the international break, effectively ruling him out of Nigeria’s clash with Tanzania.
The twenty-year-old has had a breakthrough twelve months. He was capped by Nigeria and also became an integral part of Arsenal’s first team squad.
