Governor AbduRazaq ,Emir of Ilorin , Engineer Gbenga Adebayo mourns KWASU VC Prof Akanbi

Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has described as painful and shocking the death of the Vice Chancellor of Kwara State University (KWASU) Prof. Muhammed Mustapha Akanbi, SAN.
The sad event took place sunday 20th November 2022 after a protracted illness. A statement signed by the Governor described the late professor of law as a colossus who played the leading role to open a new chapter of academic excellence and greatness for KWASU.
Similarly ,the Emir of Ilorin and Kwara State Council of Chiefs, Mai-Martaba Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari CFR, has expressed sadness over the demise of the Vice Chancellor of the Kwara State University, (KWASU) Malete, Professor Muhammed Akanbi SAN, who died on Sunday.
A statement signed by His Royal Highness Alhaji Sulu-Gambari described the incidence as quite shocking, unfortunate and saddening stressing that the VC’s death is a colossal loss to the people of Ilorin Emirate, Kwarans and humanity at large.
Meanwhile , the President of Royal Media Group , owners of Royal FM Ilorin , Engineer Gbenga Adebayo has described the death of Professor Akambi who he described as his friend a rude shock .
In his condolence message, Engineer Gbenga Adebayo who said the transition of Prof Akanbi came at the time the great achievement were been recorded at the kwara state university ,Malete .
Adebayo also condoled the immediate family ,university community and Ilorin Emirate .
