Several faithful Muslims in llorin, the Kwara capital on Monday slaughtered fowls following their inability to purchase rams for the celebration of Eid-el-Kabir. Royal FM correspondent, Olarotimi Oshin reports that fowls were already exhausted in all the fowls outlets visited in llorin on Monday.
A seller of fowls in llorin, Mr Fatai ismail who spoke with our correspondent said this is the first year his stock would be exhausted during Eid el kabir.
Oshin reports that the biggest rams in most rams markets in llorin were sold for between one hundred and thirty thousand naira to one hundred and fifty thousand naira while the fairly big ones were sold for between eighty thousand to sixty thousand naira depending on their sizes.
