Federal Government reveals plan to create job centres in all Local Government Areas

Concerned by the high rate of unemployment in the country, the Federal Government of Nigeria has revealed plans to set up job centres in the seven hundred and seventy-four Local Government Areas as well as improving the Nigerian Electronic Labour Exchange.

The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Labour and Employment, Kachollom Daju made the claim over the weekend in Abuja when she received members of Labour Correspondents of Nigeria, LACAN.

She expressed optimism that with the new National Development Plan 2021 to 2025, the Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment and other ministries hope to lift one hundred million people out of poverty.
