Electricity Workers Threaten To Resume Suspended Strike

Despite the improvements in the capacity of the transmission company of Nigeria to over 7,000 megawatts, Electricity Workers have bemoaned the exercise as not adding value to the lives of the ordinary Nigerians, saying the entitlement of some of the workers of the defunct PHCN are yet to be paid.
To this end , the Electricity workers have threatened to resume their suspended strike if the Committee set up by the Federal Government to look into their demands fail to address the issue.
Speaking to Journalists, the Zonal Organizing Secretary National Union of Electricity Employees of Nigeria NUEE Kolade Ayodele, lamented the working condition of the workers, calling for an improvement treatment to the staff.
