In a bid to curb vote-buying ahead of the 2023 General Election, Conscientious Youth has tasked the Economic and Financial Crime Commission EFCC and other security agencies to expose youth and politicians involved in the unruly act.
Speaking on the issue of vote-buying, the Executive Director of the youth group, Comrade Oyeyiola George praised the crime commission and Independent National Electoral Commission INEC for their efforts during the Ekiti Governorship election.
Comrade George, however, charged the EFCC not to relent in their efforts to curb buying, adding that politicians and youths involved in the act should be probed. He urged the youths to desist from such acts, advising them to not sell their conscience.
