Bauchi Governor Mohammed approves recruitment of 1,684 workers

Bauchi State governor, Senator Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed has approved the recruitment of 1,684 secondary school teachers, extension workers and staff of the state-owned Aminu Saleh College of Education, Azare.
This was disclosed to journalists in Bauchi by the State Head of Civil Service, Alhaji Yahuza Adamu Haruna, adding that the approval followed the lifting of embargo of employment into the state civil service by Governor Mohammed in his inaugural address on May 29.
The Head of Service disclosed that of the 1,684 to be employed, a total of 1,000 teachers for English Language, mathematics, biology, chemistry, physics and ICT were approved to be employed.
Alhaji Adamu added that 150 staff is to be employed for the Aminu Saleh College of Education, Azare, while 206 extension workers and farm managers are to be employed in the state Ministry of Agriculture in fulfillment of it.
