ASUU Strike: National Association of Nigerian Students accuses government of neglecting public education

The National Association of Nigerian Students South-West Zone, has accused President Mohammed Buhari of burying public education in the country, saying that it is ready to conduct its funeral.
This was disclosed in a statement signed by NANS Coordinator and Spokesperson, Adegboye Olatunji and Awoyinfa Opeoluwa, respectively, on Monday.
The Statement further stated that the President Buhari’s-led administration as an anti-public education, noting that the strike by the academic staff union of universities is against the yearnings of millions of students and youths.
The student body said they will be hitting the streets again in the coming days for a grand mass action on the ASUU strike.
