APC elders say Governor AbdulRazaq’s Re-election will Enhance Kwara Zoning Arrangement

Written by on November 22, 2022

The election of Kwara State governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for a second term will further ensure equity and fairness in the state’s political zoning arrangement to enable Kwara north becoming governor in 2027.This is the submission of the elders of the state’s chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) who addressed a news conference in Ilorin, the state capital on Monday.
Royal Times reports that the APC elders, on the issue of zoning arrangement maintained that it will be better for Kwara Central Senatorial District to have another shot at the gubernatorial seat though the incumbent Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, who has just four more years to complete his constitutionally guaranteed eight years tenure, than a fresh candidate from the same senatorial district.
The spokesman of the APC elders, Ambassador Nurudeen Mohammed who was flanked by Chief Wole Oke and Barrister Kunle Sulyman, expressed their full support for Governor AbdulRazaq’s second term bid
