Amnesty Int’l Nigeria Holds Football, Basketball Tourney For Human Rights

Amnesty International Nigeria has concluded arrangements for seven secondary schools in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital, to compete in two leading sports, football and basketball for human rights.
According to the organizers, the tournament which will run for three days, beginning from today at Government secondary school Tudun-Wada, Zone 4 Abuja is part of activities lined up for this year’s Write for Rights campaign.
Noting that the football and basketball tournaments which will feature six secondary schools in Abuja will be concluded on Friday, November 18, 2022,the human rights group also said the sport tournament is a new way of bringing attention of youth to human rights through the dynamism of sports.
