The candidate of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, for Ilorin West/Asa Federal constituency, Alhaji Mohammed Ibrahim Ajia has called on the people of Kwara State to suspend all forms of protest over scarcity of Naira note.
Ajia who made the call while speaking with newsmen in Ilorin noted that the hardship to which the APC had subjected Nigerians to, with their currency redesign, and the way their subsidy regime had led to the non-availability of fuel, is enough reason not to reward them with a return.
He called on  the residents and his  constituency, in particular, to vote for PDP all through in the coming general election in order to ravage the economic situation in the state and Nigeria at large.
Ajia who is a security expert also spoke about how the security situation in the country has become worse under the watch of the ruling party, such that Nigerian no longer feel safe in their country.
He noted that, if the currency swap had been handled with the needed dexterity, it would have reduced to an extent, the incident of kidnapping, but instead, it has been hardship upon hardship for the good people of Kwara State and Nigeria at large.
He, therefore, called on the people of the state to cast their votes 100% for PDP at all levels, come February 25,n and March 11.
