After RoyalFM Report, Government Clarifies Waste Disposal Method, Warns Residents Against Improper Disposal

Kwara State Government has clarified the method of disposing waste in Tanke community following a report from RoyalFM.
Recall that RoyalFM on Monday had earlier reported that residents of Tanke community demanded clarification on means of disposing waste in the environment.
Reacting to the report, Mallam Abdulrazaq Gida, Chairman Kwara State Task Force while featuring on RoyalFM program tagged “Oro ton lo” said the government is committed to ensuring a safe and clean environment through proper disposer of waste.
He added that residents should dispose their waste by handling it to waste officers from seven in the morning to 12 noon daily.
Gida further stressed that waste containers have been placed in different locations within Ilorin metropolis for proper waste disposal by the people.
