3,700 Kwara teachers to write 2022 promotion exams

About 3,700 teaching and non-teaching staff of the Kwara State Teaching Service Commission will sit for the 2022 promotion examination in the state, a statement by the commission’s press secretary, Olajide Abolarin, has said.
According to the statement, the state governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has approved the conduct of promotion examinations for all categories of teaching and non-teaching staff of TESCOM for 2022.
It said, “The promotion examinations, including oral and written tests, will involve 3,700 TESCOM staff who were due for the next cadre as part of Governor AbdulRazaq administration’s commitment to improving the quality of education in the state.”
The statement said that TESCOM chairman, Bello Tauheed-Abubakar, commended the governor for his commitment to workers’ welfare in the state, especially his investment in the education sector.
