2023 Election: Expert Warns Electorates Against Voting Political Party In Kwara

Ahead of the 2023 General Election, the Chairman National Union of Journalists, Kwara Chapter, Abdullateef Lanre Ahmed has urged electorates in the state to avoid voting political parties, saying voters should consider candidates by their effort in the development of the state.
Speaking on the program, News Rendezvous on Royal FM 95.1, the NUJ Chairman, Kwara State urged the voters to ask aspirants important questions beyond the trivial ones asked in the past.
On the issue of ASUU Strike, the NUJ Chairman applauded the Nigerians students for their efforts to keep competing with their counterparts globally despite the worrisome state of the country’s educational sector.
He, however, lamented the ongoing industrial action by the Academic Staff Union of Universities, saying the absence of academic activities in public varsities contributes to the surge in cybercrime and others in the country.
