11-11: All Set to Host Emir of Ilorin’s 27th coronation anniversary

The Emir of Ilorin and Chairman Kwara State Council of Chiefs, Mai-Martaba Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari will on Friday the 11th of November 2022 clock 27 years on the throne as the 11th Emir of Ilorin.
According to a statement issued today by the Emir’s spokesman, Mallam Abdulazeez Arowona, special prayers for the historic event will hold on Friday at 10 am at the Madrasat Shehu Alimi, Emir’s Palace premises.
The prayer is to be led by the Chief Imam of Ilorin, Dr. Muhammad Bashir Imam Soliu and other Islamic clerics across the Ilorin Emirate and beyond.
The statement added that the 27th coronation anniversary prayer is to be followed by a special Jumat service at the Ilorin Central Mosque.
Mallam Arowona added that a Colloquium in honour of the Emir organised by the Nigeria Union of Journalists, (NUJ) in conjunction with the Ilorin Emirate Council will also hold on Thursday 10th of November 2022 at 10 am at the Banquet Hall opposite Government House, Ilorin; calling on Members of the public, traditional chiefs, and well-wishers to participate in the occasion aimed at celebrating with the frontline traditional ruler in grand style.
