10th Assembly: President Tinubu To Reportedly Meet Opposition Lawmakers-Elect Today

Barring any last-minute change, President Bola Tinubu is to meet with opposition National Assembly lawmakers-elect on Monday (today).
In an invitation letter dated Friday, June 2, 2023, signed by the Permanent Secretary in the State House, Tijjani Umar, and obtained by newsmen, the scheduled meeting is to be held at the State House.
While President Tinubu is to meet the Senators-elect at 3:00 pm, his meeting with the House of Representatives-elect is slated for 5:00 pm.
In the obtained letter, the permanent secretary asked the soon-to-be lawmakers to submit their names for security clearance.
