Government insists deadline on MTN payment of fine subsists

Meanwhile, the Federal Government has said it would neither be cowed nor threatened by MTN’s court action challenging the seven hundred and eighty billion naira fine placed on it. The government insists that the telecommunications company risks another fine if it fails to pay on or before the December thirty-first deadline.
In his remarks, the chairman of the association in Kwara state, Dr Adekunle Salaudeen said the choice of Agbeku community was basically due to the availability of only mini-health clinic without the presence doctors.
