• Senate Receives 2016 Appropriation Bill

The Senate has received the report of the Committee on Appropriation of the 2016 budget after many weeks of postponement. The Chairman of the Senate Committee on Appropriation, Senator Danjuma Goje laid the report on the floor of the Senate for consideration today.
The laying of the report put to rest many weeks of speculation on the 2016 budget report. Meanwhile, the Senate has adjourned sitting to tomorrow in honour of Representatives Musa Baba Onwana of the Nasarawa-Toto Federal Constituency of Nasarawa state who died last week.
